Ode De Betty White

Banana is one of the hardest fragrant notes to work with in my opinion, just because its slightly more difficult to give banana a sophisticated appeal in perfumery. Ive only seen banana used as a main note successfully once, and that was for the company "B Never to Busy to B Beautiful" which has since then gone under. This perfume was fond-fully referred to as "Lady Boy" it was marketed for the modern day gay man; it was funky, unique, playful, and fun. Personally it reminded me of childrens cough medicine and i barely ever wore it, although enjoyed its uniqueness on occasion and i applaud their efforts.

After creating my friends wedding day perfume (the previous entry) i was able to play around with the idea of banana. I was inspired by "Lady Boy" but i wanted to take that idea to the next level and make it more wearable. Plagued with positive images of speedo clad gays playing volleyball on the beach, in Fire Island... under the glistening warm sun; i knew i owed it to them and myself to give "the banana" justice. I blended banana, seaweed, coconut, musk, vanilla, black blossoms, violet leaf, violet blossom, oakmoss, pititgrain, birch and espresso. This made for a scent that was both dark black and neon yellow in attitude; its empoweringy unique, gorgeous, fun, flirty, playful, bright, sexy, fruity, fabulous, edgy, and dark all at the same time. Wear this confidently because you are beautiful and you are one of a kind, just like this perfume.

Named after one of the most popular gay icons of our lifetime... Betty White. I mean come on! If Betty White was to be any fruit, what would she be? obviously she would be a banana for so many reasons, all we are missing are her kiwis. Ode De Betty White Matches her sunny warm disposition, her golden hair, her dark sense of humor, her quick tongue, her classic demeanor, her funky attitude and her timeless appeal. Thank you for being a friend...

Unleash your inner homosexual and embrace a life of delicious, sweet, ripe off the vine debauchery!
